I've been writing a bunch of stuff on my hand lately, and I thought it would be cool to take a picture of it, but it's out of batteries. Oh well.

I saw a car with a custom plate that said "TIHZ O" on it. The only possible meaning I can see behind it is that if the car ever flips over, it will look like it spells "O SHIT", except that the T would be upside down. So yeah, I thought that was a bit odd.

I should have more to say, but I don't.

Alright, so we all know now what we've suspected all along: the new Gorillaz album kicks ass. I'm a bit dissapointed that Del couldn't swing by the studio for a second outing, but MF DOOM (and the plethora of featured artists) more than make up for his absence.

What I'd like to talk about is an album that you may have looked over this week. Common's Be is a perfect example of what it means to combine purposeful poetry with competent, if somewhat understated production. Kanye West has proven that he should put the microphone down and stick to sitting at the sound boards. Check it out.

Speaking of music production, Ryan has by now relayed to everybody the events that have taken place, with him picking up a guitar, and the beginings of something cool taking place. There is a lot of work to be done before anything vaguely listenable can be counted as a song, but I'm willing to make it happen.

Well, I got a replacement Mac. Here's hoping it don't crap out on me. I've been working way too much lately. I'd say that I'm looking forward to my days off, but I'm far too broke to enjoy them. I do have a very poorly thought-out plan for my time off, one that will likely make Ryan pretty happy. For the recquisite sex-jokes, feel free to use the comment tab.

Also, I can't believe that JP Mike linked the Perry Bible Fellowship before I did. I can't even look at Sgt. Grumbles without laughing myself to tears.

Well, I guess we should talk about Star Wars. The fighting was cool, the effects were well done, all loose ends have been tied up. There were some cheesy moments (Darth Vaders cry of anguish near the end leaps to mind), but in general it was pretty good. The way I see it, the movie was the best possible ending to the worst possible mistake. The second trilogy should have never been made, but of course once the ball got rolling there was no way to stop it.

I'm glad it's over. Now maybe we can give other directors a chance to lead the geeks into a new era in sci-fi. With any luck, the worst thing that could happen is that all future sci-fi projects are compared to the original trilogy, and the supplementary trilogy is forgotten forever. That of course is not likely to happen, but I can dream, right?

That's right folks, it's the Return of The Mac. I couldn't be happier right now, unless I was drinking some Dr. Pepper and receiving sexual favours. And since it looks like I can't get any Dr. Pepper until I hit the theatre for the midnight show of Ep 3, and that I won't be getting sexual favours anytime soon on account of my attitude towards poor grammar, this is about as happy as I can expect to be for some time.

I'd like to give some shout-outs to my boys at Compusmart, who were actually kind enough to get the computer in question in under a month. Those fellas at My Mac Dealer won't have any for 2 weeks, and will charge me and extra $20. One thing's for sure, nobody says "up yours customer" to me. I am the one who says "up yours customer".

Well, I hope that everybody has a great weekend, and in the meantime try not to the words that or had twice consecutively. It may be grammatically correct, it's just that that shit really bugs me. I know that I had had enough of it last week, that's for sure.

Oh, and just in case you were wondering if it's fun to throw a wad of bills the size of your fist at a dude's head: yes, it is fun to throw a wad of bills the size of your fist at a dude's head.

I have decided what I want to do with my life.

I want to go to Stanford.

Well here you go, the Photoshop-heavy climax of our adventure. I called the Mac dealer today, and they can't say when the computer will be in. The best I can get by way of an estimate is "less than a month", which is not very reassuring. Frankly, I doubt I can keep up Slasher Whatever for another week. We'll see.

There will definitly not be any SK on Sunday. Like, don't even ask.

Wow, a label signed a similar-sounding act to follow a huge fad-band that they signed a few months previously to bolster sales amongst wannabe hipsters? I'm shocked. Shocked and disgusted. I expected better from Island Records! Open bracket, slash "sarcasm", close bracket.

Stasher Keeper will be updated either later today or tomorrow, depending on how I'm feeling. While photoblogging 7 days a week has certainly helped take my mind off of the fact that my computer is still not here, I got shit to do.

Instead, why don't we discuss what we'll call Newcastle Ale after they change the name to something stupid.

Conversly, now that we've determined the art motif of my future home, we can begin work on the furniture

I Noticed 2 Things Today
1) I can not differentiate between The Bravery and The Killers for the life of me.
2) In the ending of The Pillow's song Back Seat Dog, you can faintly hear the singer belting out the chorus for The Pixie's Here Comes Your Man. How cool is that?

Without any further ado, I present the further adventures of Stasher Keeper.

Holy. Shit. Has anybody else heard about Stubbs the Zombie in: Rebel Without a Pulse? I was checking out some information on The Sims 2 for Mac (I like the idea of the in-game movie-maker), and stumbled upon the soundtrack for another game from the same developers. The soundtrack looks freakin' fantastic, and the game attached to it looks to be an innovation in the genre. Some of the videos are hilarious. Check 'em out.

Let's Have Some Fun

As you may or may not know, I am planning to purchase my soon-to-arrive Mac with cash. Cold hard cash. Rather than simply go to the bank and drain my account in one swift motion, I have decided to withdraw $200 dollars a day, and display my stash on my desk where my computer will soon be. Unfortunately, I am not home for long periods of time, and require someone to keep my stash safe. So until the big purchase is made, I implore you to follow the daily adventures of...

The movie was rad. About 80% of the book was preserved, and the parts that they did change were quite alright. The only problem I can forsee is that if they did make a sequel, the plot deviations from the first book would only deviate further into something possibly unreckognizable. What I need is a damned dictionary widget.
