The Comeback Kid

Yeah, I'm back from Cuba. It was a pretty rad time all around, save for the flight to/from. However, despite our airlines best attemps to sabotage this vacation, great times were had by all. Rather than go into a colourless description of the vacation, I'd rather post all my pictures on Flickr for everybody to see. This will totally take a while though, so give me a week or so.

It's good to be back.

I brought back some cigars for all of my friends who are interested in cigars. Otherwise, you will have to be satisfied with a slideshow that I will no doubt make you suffer through. Also, I may have some currency left over....

Nuh-uh, now way. I am so done with metaphors. They're the lowest order of literary devices in my opinion. Symbolism, juxtaposition, and irony? Those are all fine, but take your metaphors elsewhere.

i don't know about that. I think the metaphor beats out simile by a fair margin. And I'm actually actively attracted to aliteration myself...

Pow! Zampf! Eat my onomatopoeia, suckas!

I would love to know which action actually causes a sound like "Zampf". I would do it all the time, provided of course that it wasn't gross or boring.

Punching someone in the gut with a laser-beam would be the action which results in "zampf!"
