She Got The Idea Watching The Series Finale of Will & Grace

I have just downloaded and read the final chapter to the latest Harry Potter book. I plan to ruin the ending for any idiotic adults that want to obsess over this within earshot of me. I am so sick of this shit.

So that I can now spout out the entire ending of the book as a knee-jerk reaction as soon as the topic is brought up.

"Hey, did you hear that the latest Harry Po-"

"Harry and Ginny get married and have three kids, Ron and Hermione get married, Draco goes bald. Dumbledore sees Harry naked. The end. I'm sorry, you were saying?"

LOL, thats awesome. I've got an annoying co-worker who's read ALL of 'em. I'll have to commit that to memory. Next time he starts spouting nonsense I'll start spouting that.

You're not gonna buy a bullhorn and announce it at the lines for the midnight purchacing thing? Weak.

Now, I'm no fan of Harry Potter. And I appreciate the idea of ruining it for people. But, I have to be the pragmatist here. How do you know it's legit? Apparently tons of fake books are floating around, and on top of it the security around the book is comparable to the enigma code from WWII.

Kyle, your faith in secrets is quite cute. I can be fairly certain that what I've read is legit, but really: does it matter? Not one good goddamn. So long as everybody (read: my girlfriend) thinks that I know the ending and am willing to spoil it at the drop of a hat, they will avoid the topic at all costs! For all it's worth, I could care less how the story ends.

I'm just curious as to how you can be so certain. Epistemiology and all that.

The copy that I downloaded was the infamous "dude who stole the book and meticulously photographed every single page" package.

You can read a story about it here.

As nuts as some of these retard fanboys can be, I find it hard to believe that somebody would go to all the trouble of writing the last book in it's entirety, publishing it such that it looks the shit, and then meticulously photographing every page. More likely than not, it's either a distributor, or somebody working on the printing line that's responsible for the theft.

It just occured to me, the title of this post suggests that you actually watched the last episode of Will & Grace. What's that about?
